It was Thanksgiving Day that I prepared this special loaf to replace my normal “Turkey Biscuits” to accompany

with the dinner. I was glad that it turned out great and everyone enjoyed it. The end result that the loaf was soft and cheesy. You can make this loaf for any occasions. It is so easy to make it.

1large round or oval crusty loaf, sourdough or Vienna

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or any other melting cheeses

Garlic Butter

6 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced

1½ tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

9 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic salt powder

Preheat heat oven to 425°F.

Slice the loaf on a diagonal into 1-1½ inch diamonds, making sure not to cut all the way through.

Place the chopped garlic, garlic salt, salt and softened unsalted butter in a Pyrex/glass dish and microwave until the butter melted. Stir in the chopped parsley.

Then use your fingers or knife to pry open each cut and drizzle in a spoonful of melted butter and stuff in a pinch shredded cheese into the same crack. After all the cracks are fill. Pour the remaining butter all over the loaf and sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheddar/other melting cheese all over the loaf crust.

Place the completed loaf onto a heavy duty aluminum foil and wrap around leaving the top crust opens. Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until all the cheese melted and crusty. Serve immediately.
