Classic Hummus

There are many ways of making hummus. It is a very easy and simple to make. You can make the hummus sweet nor salty. Also you can add vegetables, fruits or nuts into the hummus. It is also a dip to serve with pita bread, baguettes, crackers, bite-size vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, green and red bell peppers, celery and many more. Next time, I will share with all of you another interesting hummus.  

 

 

Ingredients:

1½ cans chickpeas, drain

2 clove garlic, peeled

½ cup tahini

3 tablespoons lemon juice

Salt to taste (optional)

3 tablespoons olive oil

 

Place all the ingredients in a food processor/blender and puree till smooth.

Season with salt (optional). Sprinkle some smoked paprika/sweet paprika.
