Mango and Pineapple Salsa

Most of the fresh salsa goes well with many dishes. The Latin community has contributed a good seasoning dish to accompany some dishes without overpowering the taste. My family loves salsa especially my loving husband.

Serve 4

Ingredients:

1 medium sized mangoes, peeled and diced

1¼ cups diced Roma tomato

1 cup fresh/canned pineapple, chopped

1 small green bell pepper, stem and seeds removed, diced

½ cup finely chopped red onions

1 tablespoon green finger chilies

½ cup chopped fresh cilantros

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1¼ teaspoons red pepper flakes/1 small jalapeno, seeds removed, finely diced

2 fresh clove garlic, peeled and chopped

Salt and Ground black pepper to taste

 

Method:

Place all the above ingredients into a mixing bowl. Toss gently to combine. Serve with toasts or any seafood and fish, grilled chicken/pork.
