This is a very great dish to serve during holiday season and gatherings of any celebration. I prepared this dish especially to share with all of you so that you can share this snack with your guests during the coming holiday season.
It is a very easy snack to make and you can prep ahead of time and keep it in a airtight container.
Makes 48 servings
5 packages (6.6oz package) miniature fish-shaped crackers (Any of your choice)
½ teaspoon chili powder
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
4½ teaspoons dill weed
¾ teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
2 envelopes Ranch Salad Dressing mix
1¼ cups canola/vegetable/corn/olive oil (I used olive oil)
Combine chili powder, garlic powder, dill weed, lemon-pepper seasoning and Ranch Salad Dressing mix in a small bowl.
Preheat the oven to 250°F.
In large mixing bowl with cheddar crackers and sprinkle the chili mixture onto the cheddar crackers and toss well. Pour the canola/vegetable/corn oil in a swirling manner all over the cracker mixture, and gently toss with your hand (s) or with a spoon to coat evenly. Spread onto 3 ungreased baking pans and transfer to the preheated oven to bake, stirring occasionally, for 12 to 18 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool completely. Making sure it is completely cool down before storing in an airtight container.
